Waaaah, what did you do? I’m using IE 6, and your sidebar is now on the bottom of the page below all the entries! :(
Well, now that ain’t right. I’m looking at IE6 and Firefox on XP, and looked at Safari and Firefox on OSX last night. So let’s talk browser and resolution because it has to look nice for everyone. Email me and let me know what OS and screen resolution you’re using, and I’ll tweak from me end. No worries!
The sidebar’s working fine for me. I’m using Firefox on XP.

It looks fine in Firefox (ME) in...the bigger resolution. One thousand something by...something. (Not helpful. Sorry.)

“One thousand something” is plenty helpful. I’m still trying to figure out under what conditions the stylesheet gets mucked up.
Hmmmm. I’m at work right now, and running IE 6 on Windows 2000 with my browser window sized to 800 x 600 (to help avoid fuck-offery detection, mwahaha; my desktop resolution is 1152 x 864). The sidebar is where it should be.
Anyone else having issues with the sidebar?
Yeah I set my laptop to 800x600 at home and it looked ok on OSx too. So we will continue to investigate.
All right, here’s what I’ve got:
- IE 6.0
- XP
- 1280x800
I have this problem on Monica Jackson’s blog, too. Her sidebar ends up directly beneath her entries, though. Yours is still on the right hand side at least.
And yes, I know, Firefox blah blah blah. But at this point, I’m considering my IE usage a public service, letting people know how their sites look in different browsers. ;)
