Uhm - the book is “Jewels of the Sun.” Jude also appears in Book 2 “Tears of the Moon” and Book 3, but she’s the heroine in Jewels of the Sun. I know, I know, I’m being a smartass - it’s just that I’m rereading the book and noticed that the title was weird.
Oh my, now that’s a delightful name...I can imagine some vulnerable, doe-eyed, open-shirted young count being swept off to the prosperous T’acquo du Fisshe estate!
