It’s Friday, it’s the end of the working week, and therefore it’s time for someone to start the weekend off right: with a brand spanky new Smart Bitch Title™. You know the rules: first person to correctly guess the author’s name, book title, and heroine’s name gets a taste of royalty, Smart Bitch style.

Yee haw!

Porsche-driving misbehaving flatlander with secrets seeks hot law-abiding man with his own set of hidden truths to sweep me off my feet, dance a slow two-step, and teach me the finer points of rocky mountain oysters. In return, maybe I’ll try yours. Gently.

Is it Kate Hamilton in The Trouble with Valentine’s Day by Rachel Gibson?

The book annoyed me so much I couldn’t actually get past the second chapter, so I’m probably wrong.

True Confessions by Rachel Gibson.  The heroine is Hope Spencer.

Argh! So close, and yet… not. Still, I’m glad somebody who’s presumably actually read the book won. ;) Congratulations Becky!

I haven’t read this one, but I do really like some of Gibson’s earlier books.  I don’t know what’s happened lately (oh, the newer ones are so painful), but See Jane Score and Daisy’s Back in Town were really good reads, IMO.
