For awhile now, folks have been wondering who Mr. X from Quartet Press could be. I decided it was my mission, no, my duty to figure this out. Surely I could do it, right?
Not so easy, it turns out. I bombarded poor Kay Meyer with questions and queries, and even decided that a visual photo hunt was in order.
Me: is this him?
Kat: No.
Me: is this him?
Kat: No.
Kat: No.
Me: Ooh, ooh I got it—is THIS Mr. X?
Kat: No.
Me: Is THIS?
Kat NO!
Ok, I was running out of ideas. Hmm. What about this?
Kat: WHAT? Who did that, Curtis Thompson?
Me: That’s what I’m told. Am I close?
Kat: Fine, yes, you’re close.
Me: YES! I GOT IT!
Kat: Yup.
Dang. I had money on the Hoff.
I think a Twitter avatar change is in order for Don.
I agree with Shannon. But only when he’s writing as Mr. X.
I was thinking that all along. Thanks for the conformation. Love the in depth investigating.
Methinks your investigation has prompted a press release from Quartet Press!

Srsly? That was not apparent from the twitter intertwining flying about weeks ago? It’s like a trail of breadcrumbs, and they all led right to his avatar!
