And now, from the Department of Making You Click Links, we have… links.

From Walt and his cuppa: a link that will make you feel dirty even as you keep scrolllling to look for more: a blogspot gallery of David Kawena’s illustrations of Disney heroes in their undergarments. Note: Not entirely work safe - the images or the main image of the blog itself. There’s also a Deviant Art gallery that requires a login. Is it wrong of me to think Prince Eric is stare-worthy? Because I’m ashamed of myself but I’m not entirely sure I want to be right.

What an adorable story about the cabbie! I wonder if she’s just created a new romance fan…

I’ve seen (accidentally, I swear!) some of that Disney porn stuff before, the best(?) being Jasmine from Aladdin with the genie forming, um, a “toy"… My poor, poor childhood.

Aladdin...rowr!

Re: the man who wanted to talk to the manager…

People get crazier every day. But what was the personal matter? I guess, since the manager was apparently a woman, he wouldn’t say, and we’ll never know. Possibly he wanted B&N;to stop stocking books written by women.

I’ve seen the Disney pics before.  I’m more along the lines of Sitka, David, Kocuum.

*G* Love the cabby story.

That story about the cabbie is great.

And, not that I make a habit of noticing these things, but did anyone else think that of all the Disney heroes, Hercules was the one with the most muscles and the least prominent package? It’s just like in real life!
Stay off the juice, boys. ;)

Awesome. Disney. Pics. Mmmmmmmm. I was always in love with Prince Philip and Shang, though I may have to add Prince Eric now too. Thank you for cheering up my morning!

Wonderful PR for Lori Andrews! Never underestimate the power of a good giveaway. Thanks for a nice report from RT.

And as for the Disney hunks, perhaps I’d better give cartoons another chance…

Wow, I wish more authors would have taken a page from the “be polite to others, it’s good publicity” book.  This RT was like… the conference of “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??!!”

*G* Main thing I noticed about Hercules was that it looked like he was checking to see if he remembered deodorant.

One Prince Phillip and one Milo Thatch to go, please.

What?  Y’all know you were thinking it.

I’ve seen those!  I love David Kawena’s work.  Who knew conservative, clean-cut Prince Philip could be so hot?

Me, I’m waiting for him to draw human-Beast in his undies.  I’ll take one of those, please.

Love the cabbie story, and love the *ahem* pr0n *grin* but then, I’ve always had it for both Milo and Aladdin.

Disney guys~David and Sitka are more my type.  My father-in-law’s name is John Smith so I skipped right over that one LOLOLOL

The cabbie story is great. Being kind makes more of an impression than anything else. I’ve never read her, but after reading this story, I’m off to hunt down some books by her!

As Disney porn goes, actually relatively tasteful. (That blog banner ain’t, though! :o )

There is nothing to be ashamed of in thinking Eric is a total hottie because he is!  Dark hair, blue/green eyes?  Yes, please.

That being said, Aladdin is also a total cutie although as far as personalities go, the Beast is my favourite.  However, I probably wouldn’t recognise him in his human shape and I, er, would rather not see him in his Beast form in his underwear.

Disney porn!  Oh my loving gods, I had NO IDEA. Like a dummie, I went and googled it, and now must BLEACH MY EYES!  Not to mention scrub my browser history.

The manga! The superheroes! The flipping CARTOON CHARACTERS!  That Bart and Lisa Simpson stuff was just disturbing.  Seriously, seriously disturbing.  I may never watch The Simpsons again.

thats53: Yup, that’s about 53 minutes of my life that I wish I could erase.  (Yeah, it was horrifically mesmermizing, I couldn’t look away...)

Re: David Kawena

I’ve been worshiping at his altar for months, my dear. I’m one of the insane fans demanding he make with the Prince Adam (Beauty & The Beast)

I also highly recommend Brianna Garcia @ http://bri-chan.deviantart.com/—no beefcake, but she has this great little Disney romance between an older Alice and a younger (and better looking) Mad Hatter that has a HUGE following.

Deviantart can be a gift from God sometimes.

Now why are Posers considered so hot in this context yet so unhot on book covers?  (Maybe I could come up with an answer if I felt like thinking about it, but I don’t.)

I think that Prince Eric looks like Rudolf Nureyev, and that smirk? I’m sure it must be because, as I discovered as I innocently Googled for pictures of Nureyev, he posed for photos in considerably less than his underwear (second picture down and very, very un-work-safe).

And I’m convinced that Sitka must be a relative (second cousin, perhaps?) of Sandra Hill’s Bewitched Viking.

You’re telling me.  I’m never going to be able to hear the line “every last inch of me’s covered with hair” without flashing to that, now.  Brain bleach, please.

I didn’t look at Cruella DeVille, but for some reason Gaston and Catpain Hook hurt my brain far worse than anything in the original post.  Possibly because, thanks to the Broadway musical of BatB and the Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs (not to mention Dustin Hoffman in Hook), I’m used to picturing them as actual humans?  Or maybe the other artist’s style just hits me wrong.  *shrug*

David Kawena’s art is well done, but I have a hard time getting into the idea of cartoon characters from kiddie movies being turned into pin-ups straight out of “Dorothy’s Surrender.” And Brianna Garcia’s cartoons shipping an older Alice and Hatter- while beautifully drawn- make me feel a bit queasy.  Let’s not even get into the Frollo!pr0n that exists out there on the WWW…

I want to bleach my brain now.

(Couldnt17: Well, that’s appropriate.  I couldn’t get into this stuff, even when I was 17.)
