I would read the Karen Hawkins first because she’s pretty amazing. Then I would read the Julia London!

Hmmm. I guess I would read Gena Showalter’s Ecstasy in Darkness. It’s hard to decide, so many great books!
I really want to read Aching for Always. I love the cover and Gwen would be a new author for me, but it sounds amazing and I love a good time travel romance
I have to admit, I would read the Kresley Cole first. I haven’t read that one yet, been waiting for the paperback.
I would first start with Deep kiss of Winter because i love kresley cole
I’d probably read A Hellion in Her Bed. I’m in the mood for some historical romance.
I’d start with “A Hellion In Her Bed” because someone on my f-list enjoyed it and recced the hell out of it (and I recall reading another Sabrina Jeffries and was impressed that the lady pretty much propositioned the guy – I like the ones with bold heroines).
Then I’d probably go “The Year Of Living Dangerously” because I love the stories where someone’s pretending to be someone else, but the love interest of the pretender sees through it, and shenanigans result!
I haven’t read any of those; in fact, I don’t think I’ve read most of those authors. Something makes me want to start with the Julia London book though.
I’d start with “A Hellion in Her Bed” because I’ve been wanting to buy that for weeks but haven’t been able to afford it!
i can’t wait to finally get Deep Kiss of Winter. i’ve been waiting for the mmp since the HB came out. seems like ages.
I’d read them all, but I’d also give away as gifts any of the ones I think some of my romance reading friends would like to read. After all, it’s coming close to Christmas and I have gifts to get. 🙂
I’d give away A Hellion in Her Bed because I read it the day after it came out.
I’d keep the mmpb of DEEP KISS OF WINTER and give away my hc of it, then I’d go eeny meeny miny moe with the rest because I seriously wouldn’t know where to start. And A HELLION IN HER BED would go to a friend or my cousin, as I already have it.

the multiple-author books are great, and i do love me some linda lael miller (she always strikes me as a woman who enjoys her oral) but in this case i would have to go for ACHING FOR ALWAYS first. for start, the name gives me the giggles. for end, it gives me hope it is a drawn-out cornucopia of descriptive passages full of longing and randiness. you know, like high school.
I’d have to read Sabrina Jeffries first! But with so many pretty covers, I’d probably spend more time that I care to admit just staring at them all… and when done, I’d send ‘em to my best friend.
I’d start with Aching for Always—if only to find out what happens to make her dress so fall-offey. (I can think of several scenarios about why it’d be falling off at the top and why it’d be slit up from the bottom, but the combination of the two would be an automatic good read.)
A Highlander for Christmas would be an excellent gift for one of my cousins. I drove my grandfather to Illinois this summer to visit his sick brother, and we stayed with one of his sister’s kids (so she is my grandfather’s niece, but “cousin” to me is just easier). She was the sweetest and kindest woman I’ve met, and she spoiled me endlessly—not least of which by giving me, just as we were leaving, a PILE of books that she had in her closet. They were all romance novels, and most of them were historical romances. She confessed to me (after warning me with a bit of a blush that the books were, in some people’s opinions, “soft core porn,” and I shouldn’t read them if that bothered me) that she loved books about the Irish and Scots most of all. Just based on the title, then, I know this would make an excellent gift for her.

I’d give away Kresley Cole’s book, because I already have it.
I’d read the Linda Leal Miller book because it’s been forever since I’ve read a book by her.
4 friends meet weekly for tea, munchies and to solve the problems of the universe. Between us, we’ll devour the titles offered. I’ll take 1st dibs on the Kenyon, Jeffries and Miller at the very least.
I’d definitely start with I’ll Be Home for Christmas, because I’m far, far away from home right now, and that “returning home” motif is hitting all my buttons lately. And Unforgivable sounds like the right blend of romance and suspense that a number of my friends would enjoy.
I would have to read I’ll Be Home For Christmas first. It just wouldn’t be the same opening this book in February!
I’d give away the audiobook, because I don’t dig books being read to me. And who knows what I’d read first—spoiled for choice!

I don’t even know where to start they all look like fun to read! I think though it would be a toss up between Aching for Always or A HIghlander for Christmas. Based on names alone. I’m curious to see what sort of story you would attach to Aching for Always!
I’d give the Linda Lael Miller (and several others) to a friend who not only celebrates Christmas, but had a really shoicking one last year and could do with a bit of guaranteed cheer.

I’d read “Deep Kiss of Winter” first—even though just looking at the cover makes me cold!
I’d go for Sherilyn Kenyon’s “Blood Trinity” first, because I must admit the premise intrigues me and she’s absolutely one of my (unabashedly) guilty pleasures.
And Christmas is (at least for me) all about indulging my guilty pleasures.

Ditto on Karen Hawkins. The thing is, I’m not familiar with her books. I recently watched North & South for the first time, and it has lured me away from urban fantasy and back towards romance. So I’m in a bit of a regency/victorian/whatever kick. Richard Armitage, lawd.
I confess, with a handful of exceptions (all of which were recommended from this blog), I haven’t picked up a romance novel in about 3-4 years. I was severely burned out after reviewing them for a few years (I was reviewing and reading about 5-15 books and ebooks per week). So I don’t even know who half those authors are. >_> Atrocious, I know.
I’d also read Deep Kiss of Winter in honor of the frigid cold that is this German December.
I’d read The Year of Living Scandalously by Julia London first.
OK I would read Earl of Darkness – just for the abs on the cover!
