I totally owe a bunch of reviews, but here’s a little tidbit for you:
Thundering Roses makes a great all-purpose curse word. I just dropped a phone book on my toe: Thundering Roses! I just attemped to read a Cassie Edwards novel: Thundering Roses! I just ate a stock pot full of four-alarm chili, a pound of refried beans, some corn, and a bag of air while wearing rose-printed pedal-pushers: Thundering Roses!
Heeeee! I keep picturing Lion-O when I see that phrase. “Thundering… Thundering… Thundering ROSES HOOOOOOO!”
And then he squints, raises the sword… and rose petals fly out of his butt. And Mumm-Ra and his cronies all fall over going “OMG WTF?”
OK, I’ll stop being a dork for now.
Oh my god, now that image is going to haunt me forever. I’ll never be able to read the title the same way.
I used to be all, “I wonder who Cheetarah is humping,” when I thought of the Thundercats, but now it is going to be roses out of the ass all the way.
