If you follow the site, you know that I’m Jewish and Candy is Agnostic Badass but it’s Christmas season here, there, and everywhere, and Hachette’s Forever Romance wants to make sure you have a whopping pile of books to read this holiday season. It’s still Hanukkah, it’s nearly Christmas, and there’s ample time to read, right?
So let’s get going with a Holy Big Honking Ample Prize offering. Leave a comment between right this minute, describing one thing you’d really like, esoteric or literal, this holiday season, and I’ll draw one random winner from the group. Comments close at midnight EST on Christmas Eve, 24 December, just as Santa fires up the Hybrid Sleigh to deliver all Hofftastic Holiday posters you ordered for Christmas Day.
If your comment is selected, you win…

Way back in the day, years and years ago in internet time anyway, there were Magic Hoff Posters of humor, vitality and strength - not unlike The Hoff himself. I had the winners all picked out, and thought to myself, “Self, why don’t you find someone at Hoff’s HQ and see if he’d personally autograph some Fine Hoff Swag or give you a Cease & Desist email or something?”
Note to self: stop making things complicated by trying to harass busy celebrities during the holidays when they are busy being celebrities and traveling a lot. So, pardon the unavoidable delay: here are the winners!
First Prize: A Hoff Bag! A what bag?! A HOFF BAG. From beautiful Australia, one genuine Hoff Showbag, including a Hoff Wig, Hoff wrist bands, Hoff air freshener, Hoff Dollar Bling, and Hoff Love Dice. Among other things. But really, at this point I’m sure people are climbing over themselves in their desk chairs to find out who won?!
First prize goes to: Megan for her beautimus entry:
I also love the smell of gorgeous Man-titty in the morning.
Second Prize is a leather journal from NinthMoon, where everything is awesome. And this prize is awarded to Silver James for:
Third Prize is a hot pink address book with two stylish ladies on the cover - trust me they’re lovely - and it goes to: Brutally Honest Babes for her entry:
“I’m in Ur Pool, Savin Ur Ass” - will this joke ever get old? I freaking hope not.
Winners, please with your mailing addresses, and y’all, forgive my delusions of Hoffness. I was clearly out of my mind.

It’s another giveaway in our Eight Crazy Nights of fun here at Smart Bitches.
Today’s prize: a totebag with three novels from the Harper Perennial Olive Editions. They’re cute and little and a fabulous repackaging, in my opinion, of some hefty good books.
The prize bag includes a copy of The Mysteries of Pittsburgh by Michael Chabon, Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kindera.
Want to heft a bag of books? Just leave a comment with your answer to the following question: what was the best book you read this year that wasn’t a romance? Comments close in 24 hours, so share your recommendations and keep your fingers crossed.

Hot on the heels of this weekend’s links to Mr. Romance, the comedy comes another tv show that’ll raise a few Bitchery eyebrows.
You know how popular colors move from clothing to wall color to cars? Or maybe it’s another order, but I remember reading about how color trends move from industry to industry within 5 years. So here we have some interesting movement from romance fiction to television:
Hollywood Reporter says that Fox has begun development for a new dramedy about a quartet of female New Yorkers who are werewolves. The title? Wait for it… wait for it....
